Otto Niemeyer-Holsteins catalogue of works
Helmut Soldner
Published by Museums Atelier Otto Niemeyer-Holstein
On the basis of the originally constructed “Fibel” by Dr. Annelise Niemeyer (until 1971) and the extensively complied archive of Helmut and Doris Soldner (1971-2007)
Edited by Gudrun Schmidt
The catalogue of works presents all of the paintings, watercolours and drawings by the painter Otto Niemeyer-Holstein.
The database offers pictures of 82% of the 4893 works as well as detailed information on the works, accessible at atelier-onh.museumnet.eu.
The extensive overall presentation of all known works offers a new basis for the engagement with the works by Otto Niemeyer-Holstein. The basis of the updated overall presentation is the catalogue of works by Helmut and Doris Soldner, which was edited by Gudrun Schmidt and extended by around 500 newly discovered works.
We ask for your cooperation in the completing the illustrations and information on around 1000 works that are still missing from us. If you can provide us with information about the whereabouts of a work by Otto Niemeyer-Holstein, please contact the Museum Atelier Otto Niemeyer-Holstein in Lüttenort by post or e-mail: Atelier-ONH@t-online.de.
Our heartfelt thanks go to the sponsors of the project, the Friends of Otto Niemeyer-Holstein, Lüttenort e.V., the Ostdeutsche Sparkassenstiftung together with the Stiftung der Sparkasse Vorpommern für Wissenschaft, Kultur, Sport und Gesellschaft, the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the FAMA-Kunststiftung, and the family of Prof. Dr. Günter Niemeyer.
